The History of the Dr Szczyt Brand
From a dream of flying to mastery in surgery
Dr. Marek Szczyt the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical Academy in 1987. However, it soon became clear that medicine alone was not enough—he wanted to perform surgeries. Before he was able to do so, however, he underwent many years of demanding training. For four years, he gained experience at the Surgery Clinic of the Institute of Hematology in Warsaw, where he earned his first-level specialization in general surgery. It was there that he honed the precision and composure that are now the hallmarks of his work.
The turning point came at the Plastic Surgery Hospital in Polanica-Zdrój—one of the oldest and most renowned centers of its kind in Europe. For seven years, dr Szczyt there under the guidance of Prof. Kazimierz Kobus, specializing in complex reconstructive cases: tissue reconstruction following burns, injuries, and congenital defects. It was this training that shaped him into a surgeon who today can restore not only a beautiful appearance but also human dignity. Before devoting himself fully to aesthetic surgery, he worked with children at the Children’s Health Center for five years, treating congenital defects and deformities. He continues to collaborate with this institution to this day.
The Birth of the Clinic
In 2003, Dr. Marek Szczyt his first clinic on Grzybowska Street in Warsaw. The location was no accident—the heart of the capital was the perfect setting for a clinic that was meant to set new standards from the very beginning. It quickly became clear that Warsaw and patients from all over Poland welcomed the clinic with great enthusiasm. The clinic began to grow rapidly, and trust in Dr. Szczyt—as a surgeon and as a person—grew with every completed surgery and every patient who left with newfound confidence.
In 2011, another facility was opened, this time in Wilanów, and the Dr Szczyt brand Dr Szczyt one of the most recognizable in Polish plastic surgery. Today, the clinic operates in several locations in Warsaw and Konstancin, and its team consists of nearly 20 outstanding specialists in various fields—from plastic surgery, through dermatology and aesthetic medicine, to physical therapy and regenerative medicine.
