Neck, temporal or mini face lift

Over time, the skin on the face and neck loses its elasticity, leading to the formation of wrinkles, sagging tissue, and loss of youthful contours. For those who want to restore their beautiful appearance without undergoing a full facelift, neck, temporal, or mini facelift treatments are the ideal solution. These less invasive procedures focus on specific areas, offering natural and satisfying rejuvenation effects.

What are the treatments and what do they look like?

Neck lift

The procedure focuses on the neck and involves removing excess skin and fat, resulting in the smoothing of wrinkles and improved contour. Incisions are usually hidden behind the ears and in the hairline, reducing the visibility of scars.

Temporal facelift

This type of facelift focuses on the upper part of the face, particularly around the temples and outer corners of the eyes. The procedure involves lifting sagging tissue, which smooths out wrinkles and raises the eyebrows. The incisions are usually hidden in the hairline, making the scars almost invisible.

Mini Facelift

This type of facelift focuses on the upper part of the face, particularly around the temples and outer corners of the eyes. The procedure involves lifting sagging tissue, which smooths out wrinkles and raises the eyebrows. The incisions are usually hidden in the hairline, making the scars almost invisible.

How to prepare for the treatments?

The first and most important stage is a discussion of expectations, assessment of health, and qualification for surgery by the surgeon. Only then can diagnostic tests be performed.

A few days before the procedure, you should stop taking blood-thinning medication after consulting your doctor. It is recommended to limit or stop drinking alcohol and smoking at least one week before the operation to aid the healing process. In the case of general anesthesia, the last meal should be eaten 8-10 hours before the procedure.

Recovery after treatments

Recovery time depends on the type of procedure.

Cervical and Temporal Face Lift - swelling and bruising may persist for 2-3 weeks. It is recommended to wear a special tourniquet and avoid intense exercise for about a month. Sutures are removed after 7-10 days.

Mini Face Lift - due to its less invasive nature, the healing time is shorter. Patients often return to their daily activities after 1-2 weeks, but the full effects are visible after a few months.

Contraindications to performing the treatments

Major contraindications include uncompensated cardiovascular conditions, elevated blood pressure, and blood clotting disorders. Also excluded are autoimmune diseases like lupus, which can affect the healing process, active skin infections in the area of the planned surgery. Surgical procedures are contraindicated during pregnancy.

FAQ

Answers to frequently asked questions about a variety of treatments and procedures.

How is a Neck Face Lift different from a traditional facelift?

The Neck Face Lift focuses exclusively on the neck area and jawline. The goal of the procedure is to remove excess skin and fatty tissue and improve the contour of the neck, resulting in a more youthful and defined profile. The procedure can be combined with a neck lift

What kind of results can be obtained after a Temporal Face Lift?

The Temporal Face Lift allows you to gently lift your eyebrows, smooth the wrinkles around your eyes and improve the contour of your upper face. It makes the face look more rested and younger.

What is a mini Face Lift and who is it for?

Mini Face Lift is a less invasive version of the traditional face lift. It is aimed at people with the first signs of aging such as slight sagging of the skin or so-called hamsters around the jawline. The procedure is characterized by a shorter recovery period and a natural rejuvenating effect.

How long do the effects of these treatments last?

The effects of a neck, temporal and mini facelift last on average between 5 and 10 years. The durability of the results depends on the individual predispositions of the patient, such as age, lifestyle and skin care.

Will the scars from the procedure be visible?

The incisions are made in concealed areas, such as the hairline or around the ear. Once fully healed, the scars are almost invisible, and proper skin care can further improve their appearance.

Are the effects of the treatments natural?

Yes, the effects of the Cervical, Temporal and Mini Face Lift are very natural, as the treatments focus on lifting the deep structures of the face, not just stretching the skin. As a result, the face looks younger, but retains its natural facial expression.
