Lipofilling, or breast augmentation with fatty tissue, is an increasingly popular method of breast augmentation. The surgical procedure presented here involves augmenting the breasts by supplementing them with the patient's own fatty tissue. Lipofilling is recommended as an alternative to the slightly more invasive breast augmentation procedure by placing implants, in ladies who want to slightly enlarge and model their breasts. It is also a good method for equalizing breast asymmetry.

The advantage of the procedure is the simultaneous sculpting of selected areas of the body - during liposuction, fat is taken from the "problem" areas (abdomen, hips, thighs). The properly prepared fat is then transplanted into the breasts. This method allows to firm the skin of the breasts, improve their shape and increase their volume. The effect is natural. If the patient wants to increase the volume more, the procedure can be repeated.

The operation is performed under general anesthesia, the patient stays in the clinic for 1 day. For 3-6 weeks, she must wear an underwire-free bra and a compression garment for the suctioned area.

Discomfort is less than after augmentation with implants - the breasts are swollen for the first week, but do not hurt. The fat is administered with a small cannula from multiple punctures, the traces are invisible after a week. Minimal scars ( cannula incisions) remain after liposuction.

The adipose tissue that engrafts remains permanently. It is usually 40-60% of the transplanted fat.

The recovery period is short - after two weeks the stitches are removed from the liposuction incisions, and after 3-4 weeks you can return to physical activity.
