Anesthesia
Anesthesia is a medical procedure aimed at reducing or eliminating the sensation of pain during a procedure, examination, or treatment. It can take a local, regional, nerve block (conduction), or general form, depending on the type of procedure and the patient's health condition. The choice of anesthesia takes into account the scope of the procedure, coexisting diseases, medications used, allergies, and previous reactions to anesthesia. For larger procedures, qualification requires an anesthesiology consultation and a discussion of possible contraindications.
