Boxer's nose

Boxer's nose is a colloquial term for a nose deformed most often as a result of injuries, fractures, or repeated damage to the bony-cartilaginous structures. It may involve asymmetry, a hump, a collapsed nasal bridge, a deviated septum, or difficulty breathing through the nose. The change has aesthetic significance, but it can also affect nasal function. Any nasal injury, especially with bleeding, swelling, pain, or impaired patency, requires medical assessment.
