"IPL laser" is a colloquial, though imprecise, term for IPL technology, i.e. intense pulsed light. IPL is not a classic laser, because it emits a broad spectrum of light rather than a single wavelength. This technology is used in dermatology and cosmetology, among other things, in procedures concerning hair, erythema, discoloration, or photoaging.
