Pimples on the nose
Pimples on the nose is a colloquial term for inflammatory or comedonal lesions appearing on the nose. They can take the form of papules, pustules, comedones, or painful subcutaneous lesions. The nose is an area rich in sebaceous glands, so it often becomes oily and is prone to blockage of hair follicle openings. Recurring, painful, or purulent lesions are worth consulting with a dermatologist, especially if accompanied by erythema, swelling, or suspected infection.
