Small lips
Small lips refers to lips of low volume, a narrow vermilion border, or a subtle contour in relation to the other facial proportions. They may be a natural feature, resulting from anatomy, genetics, facial expression, tooth position and bite, or age-related changes. Over time, the lips may appear narrower due to loss of tissue volume and changes in skin quality. Assessment of small lips should take into account the entire face, symmetry, proportions, and lip function.
