Tennis elbow

Tennis elbow is a colloquial name for pain on the outer side of the elbow, most often related to overloading of the wrist extensor muscle attachments. Despite the name, it does not affect only tennis players; it can occur with manual work, computer work, sports, or repetitive forearm movements. Symptoms include pain when gripping, lifting objects, or extending the wrist. Diagnosis and choice of management require assessment by a doctor or physiotherapist.
