UV radiation

UV radiation is ultraviolet radiation emitted mainly by the sun, as well as by certain artificial light sources. It is divided, among others, into UVA and UVB, which differ in penetration depth and effect on the skin. Excessive exposure can lead to sunburn, discoloration, photoaging, diminished skin quality, and an increased risk of skin cancer. Sun protection is an important element of dermatological prevention. Concerning skin changes after sun exposure require consultation.
