Malgorzata Rozenek-Majdan, Dr. Marek Szczyt and Dr. Michal Nawrocki join forces in the program "Without Complexes"

Until a dozen years ago, the topic of plastic surgery was something talked about in whispers in Poland - if it was talked about at all. Today it is becoming part of a larger conversation about acceptance, fitness and the right to take care of oneself. This approach clearly resonates in the new program "Without Complexes," airing this fall on TVN7. The program is hosted by Malgorzata Rozenek-Majdan, and Dr. Marek Szczyt and Dr. Michal Nawrocki, among others, are responsible for the medical metamorphoses of the participants. The mission from the beginning was to make women happy and induce positive internal changes in them by providing external changes in the form of surgical procedures. Thanks to the appearance metamorphosis, the participants gain a new life without complexes - more confidence, courage and a smile every day.

Why is physiotherapy after plastic surgery so important?

Plastic surgeries are procedures that aim to improve the appearance of the body and, in some cases, to make life more comfortable. While the procedures themselves are increasingly safe and effective, their effectiveness depends largely on an adequate recovery process. Physiotherapy after plastic surgery plays a key role in this process, helping patients return to full function more quickly, minimizing the risk of complications and improving the aesthetic results of the procedure.

Androgenetic alopecia - scalp care and treatments

Androgenetic alopecia is the most common cause of hair loss in both men and women. It is a process related to the hypersensitivity of hair follicles to androgens, or male hormones, such as testosterone and its derivative, dihydrotestosterone (DHT). In men, symptoms of androgenetic alopecia usually begin to appear after puberty and primarily involve the scalp, particularly the temporal region, the top and the forehead. In women, on the other hand, androgenetic alopecia often manifests as diffuse hair loss around the top of the head. Although the process is linked to genetics, stress, poor nutrition, hormonal changes and other external factors can exacerbate symptoms.

How do you take care of your skin after 40 to keep it looking young?

After the age of forty, the skin undergoes a number of changes that are the result of both the natural aging process and the hormonal fluctuations associated with perimenopause. During this time, the production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid - substances responsible for firmness, elasticity and hydration of the skin - decreases significantly. The skin becomes thinner, less taut, and wrinkles and furrows become more visible. In order to maintain a youthful appearance for as long as possible, it is worth focusing on proper care that supports the skin's regenerative processes and considering modern aesthetic medicine treatments.

Do you know how to properly use sunscreen to protect your skin from photoaging?

UV radiation is responsible for up to 80% of the signs of facial skin aging. But protection from the sun is only one element of anti-aging prevention. The basis of daily care should be cosmetics containing antioxidant ingredients that neutralize free radicals responsible for collagen degradation, loss of firmness and the formation of discoloration. But, in situations of increased sun exposure, it is worth reaching for additional sunscreen creams. In order to effectively protect the skin from wrinkles and post-sun discoloration, it is important not only to have a high SPF value, but also to apply it correctly and regularly.
