Dry dandruff
Dry dandruff is a common form of scalp flaking, in which small, light flakes of epidermis are visible falling onto the hair or clothing. It may be accompanied by itching, a feeling of skin tightness, or excessive sensitivity. Causes include, among other things, skin dryness, disturbances of the protective barrier, improper care, or an excessive reaction to microorganisms present on the skin. If dandruff persists, worsens, or coexists with inflammation, it is worth consulting a dermatologist or trichologist.
