Post-pregnancy breasts
Post-pregnancy breasts refers to changes in the appearance and structure of the breasts that may appear after pregnancy, regardless of breastfeeding. They may include a change in volume, skin laxity, breast ptosis, stretch marks, asymmetry, or a change in the appearance of the nipples and areolas. Their extent depends on genetics, hormonal balance, body weight, skin elasticity, and the course of pregnancy. Sudden lumps, nipple discharge, or skin changes require medical consultation.
