Blood-thinning medications should be discontinued a few days before surgery, after consulting with your doctor. It is advisable to limit or stop alcohol consumption and smoking a minimum of one week before surgery to help the healing process. In the case of general anesthesia, the last meal should be eaten 8-10 hours before surgery.
Recovery after Deep Plane Face Lift
The recovery period after the procedure usually lasts between 10 and 14 days. During this time, swelling, bruising, and skin tightness may occur, all of which will gradually subside.
