Anti-aging and regenerative medicine - what can you do for your skin?

If you look at your skin and notice it's losing radiance, firmness or an even tone, you don't have to jump straight to plastic surgery. Anti-aging and regenerative medicine offers many less invasive but effective options. On one hand, there are diagnostic solutions that help you better understand the aging process, and on the other, treatments aimed at stimulating the skin's own renewal, improving its quality and working on specific concerns such as wrinkles, scars or loss of firmness.

When your skin needs a boost to regenerate

If your concerns are fine lines, slackness, dryness, loss of radiance or an uneven skin tone, we often think about autologous treatments, meaning ones that use material obtained from the patient's own body. Our offer addresses these needs - we propose to patients: 

  • platelet-rich plasma, 
  • platelet-rich fibrin,

What they have in common is their direction of action: stimulating the skin to regenerate and improving its quality.

Platelet-rich plasma is obtained from the patient's own blood. This preparation supports skin regeneration and revitalization, stimulates fibroblasts to produce new collagen and helps improve elasticity, density and firmness. Plasma works well for wrinkles, tired, dehydrated skin lacking radiance, uneven tone and visible scars, for example post-acne scars. It is also a treatment that can support skin regeneration after other aesthetic medicine procedures. 

Platelet-rich fibrin is also an autologous material, but it works a bit differently. In the skin it forms a three-dimensional network that acts as a scaffold for new cells, and the platelets it contains release growth factors that stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. Thanks to this, we can work on skin firmness and elasticity, reducing wrinkles and folds, scars, as well as under-eye shadows and puffiness. Fibrin can also support regeneration after aesthetic medicine treatments, for example after laser therapy. 

We also offer a treatment using stem cells for skin rejuvenation. Stem cells have the ability to recognize damaged tissue and repair it, and about a month after the treatment you can observe a reduction in fine lines, smoother and more even skin tone, and improved density, firmness and elasticity. We obtain stem cells from blood or adipose tissue, and then administer them locally wherever the skin needs regeneration. 

When does skin need a more intensive rebuild?

Not every type of skin needs only gentle stimulation. Sometimes the problem is more complex: deeper wrinkles, post-acne scars, stretch marks, uneven tone or discoloration appear. In such situations we recommend a treatment using UltraPulse® Alpha. This is an advanced laser used, among other things, to work on skin structure. The treatment involves precisely irradiating the skin with microscopic columns of light that vaporize damaged tissue while simultaneously stimulating regenerative processes.

UltraPulse® Alpha can be used for signs of skin aging, loss of firmness, scars, stretch marks, uneven tone, and sun- and age-related discoloration. Effects include smoother skin, improved firmness, scar reduction, more even tone and tightening. Importantly, the scope of therapy can be tailored to the problem - from more superficial work for discoloration and uneven tone to deeper modes used for scars and deep wrinkles. 

How do we choose the right solution for your skin's needs?

In practice, it's not about looking for the "strongest" treatment, but the best matched one. That's why, before the procedure, the doctor assesses the condition of the skin, discusses expectations and checks indications and contraindications. This is what the qualification process looks like both for platelet-rich fibrin and for the UltraPulse® Alpha laser. It's precisely at this stage that we determine whether the better direction will be stimulating the skin to regenerate, a more intensive rebuild of its structure, or perhaps a broader anti-aging approach starting with diagnostics.

It's also worth remembering that in regenerative medicine, what matters is not just the treatment itself, but the whole action plan. Sometimes the skin primarily needs revitalization and improved quality, sometimes more decisive work on scars or tone, and sometimes a combination of several stages in a well-structured process. When is it worth considering stem cells?

We use stem cells, among other things, in skin rejuvenation. They can support tissue regeneration, and about a month after the treatment you can observe a reduction in fine lines and improved tone, density, firmness and elasticity of the skin.

Is UltraPulse® Alpha only a scar treatment?

No. We use UltraPulse® Alpha not only in scar therapy, but also for signs of skin aging, loss of firmness, uneven tone, stretch marks and discoloration. It's a treatment that can also serve comprehensive skin rejuvenation.

Do regenerative treatments require a long recovery?

It depends on the procedure. Recovery after platelet-rich fibrin is usually brief and may involve only slight swelling or redness, after plasma the patient leaves the clinic right after the treatment, and with UltraPulse® Alpha the healing time ranges from a few days to about 2 weeks - depending on the intensity of the procedure.
