Hyaluronic acid treatments

Hyaluronic acid is a natural component of the skin responsible for its hydration, elasticity and firmness. As we age, its amount in the body gradually decreases, leading to wrinkles, loss of volume and changes in the oval of the face. Hyaluronic acid treatments are an effective, minimally invasive and safe method of restoring a youthful appearance and improving facial proportions.

What does hyaluronic acid treatment consist of?

Hyaluronic acid preparations take the form of a flexible, transparent gel, which the doctor inserts into the appropriate areas of the skin. Due to the acid's ability to bind water:

  • Fills in wrinkles and furrows,
  • Restores lost volume,
  • lifts tissues (soft lifting),
  • Moisturizes and revitalizes the skin,
  • Allows you to model your lips and improve their contour.

The procedure is performed under local anesthesia, which minimizes patient discomfort. The effect is visible immediately, and the final result stabilizes within several days, when the preparation fully integrates into the tissue.

Applications of hyaluronic acid in our clinic

  • Wrinkle correction - filling of nasolabial furrows, wrinkles around the mouth, marionette lines, horizontal forehead wrinkles or "lion's wrinkle".
  • Volumetrics - restoring volume in the cheeks, temples, jawline and chin area, which improves facial proportions and gives the face a more youthful appearance.
  • Soft lifting - a gentle lifting and tightening of tissues without surgical intervention, providing a natural rejuvenation effect.
  • Lip modeling - enlarging lips, improving contour, evening out asymmetry, and making lips look moisturized and fuller.

What are the treatments using hyaluronic acid?

  1. Medical consultation - the doctor evaluates the condition of the skin, facial proportions and selects the appropriate product.
  2. Local anesthesia - usually in the form of a cream or dental injection for procedures in the mouth.
  3. Administration of hyaluronic acid - the product is injected with a needle or microcannula, depending on the area and treatment technique.
  4. The effect is immediate - the skin regains volume and facial features become more harmonious.

The duration of the treatments is usually 30-60 minutes, and the patient can immediately return to daily activities.

Effects of the treatments

The results of the treatments last an average of 6-12 months, depending on the type of preparation, the site of administration and the individual characteristics of the patient. The effects are:

  • Smoothing wrinkles and furrows,
  • Improving the oval and proportions of the face,
  • natural lifting effect,
  • Fuller and moisturized lips,
  • A younger, fresher looking skin.

What not to do after hyaluronic acid treatments?

After hyaluronic acid treatments, intense exercise should be avoided for 1-2 days after the procedure. It is also necessary to give up saunas and tanning beds for about 2 weeks. You should also remember to increase the amount of fluids you drink. Patients are also required to have a medical check-up on the scheduled date.

Sculptra is a collagen production stimulant, created on the basis of L-polylactic acid, which occurs naturally in human body. This substance creates a natural scaffolding under the skin, which stimulates collagen production. The process accelerates the natural regeneration and restoration of the volume of your subcutaneous tissue.

FAQ

Answers to frequently asked questions about a variety of treatments and procedures.

Are hyaluronic acid treatments painful?

The procedures are performed under local anesthesia (anesthetic cream or injection in the lip area), so they are virtually painless. After the procedures, there may be a slight swelling or redness, which quickly subsides.

When are the effects of hyaluronic acid treatments visible?

The results are visible immediately after administration - wrinkles are smoothed, the face gains volume and lips become fuller. The final effect stabilizes after about 1-2 weeks, when the hyaluronic acid binds water and settles into the tissue.

How long does the effect of hyaluronic acid last?

On average, it lasts from 6 to 12 months, depending on the type of preparation, the area of administration and the individual characteristics of the patient. For some treatments, the effect can last up to 18 months.

What areas can be improved with hyaluronic acid?

We use hyaluronic acid for:
- reducing wrinkles and furrows (nasolabial, marionette, lion's wrinkle, forehead wrinkles),
- facial volumetrics - restoring volume to cheeks, temples, chin, jawline,
- soft lifting - gently lifting and improving facial oval,
- lip modeling - enlarging, moisturizing and improving contour.

Can I return to work after the procedure?

Yes. The procedure does not require convalescence - the patient usually returns to daily activities right away. Only for a few days it is advisable to avoid intense exercise, sauna and solarium.
